Dr. Govind Bharwani

Dr. Govind Bharwani is the Co-Director of Ergonomics and Alzheimer’s Care in the College of Engineering at Wright State University (WSU) in Dayton, OH. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from WSU. He currently teaches courses in Ergonomics, Six Sigma and Lean Quality Improvement Methods at the College of Engineering at WSU. He has consulted for over 100 organizations in the application of ergonomics and Lean-Six Sigma process improvement. Dr. Bharwani has effectively applied Ergonomics and Neuroscience principles in long-term care facilities, which resulted in significant reduction of resident falls, employee injuries and improvements in Alzheimer’s/Dementia resident care. Dr. Bharwani has received the 2012 Leaders of Tomorrow Award from Long-Term Living magazine and the 2014 Public Service award from the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA).
